The UK Government Council for Science and Technology today invited representatives of the NIA and its corporate members to a meeting in order to discuss the future of nanotechnology in the UK from an industrial perspective. The meeting formed part of the CST Review on actions set out in the Government's response to the Royal Society/Royal Academy of Engineering report Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies: opportunities and uncertainties.
The meeting notes will be annexed in the CST Review report, soon to be published on the CST website.
The NIA had previously submitted written evidence to the CST Review on Nanotechnology, which is available on the CST website together with the written evidence submitted by other organisations.
