UPDATE - NIA EXCLUSIVE Consultation: Canadian Proposed Approaches to Regulating Nanoscale Substances – DEADLINE: 13 May 2015

**** UPDATE: NIA drafted a reply to the EC and HC consultation on a Proposed Approach to address Nanoscale Forms of Substances in the DSL. NIA Members are invited to provide comments to this draft reply ****

NIA is gathering feedback from its Members to reply to the consultation that has been opened by Environment Canada and Health Canada on a Proposed Approach to address Nanoscale Forms of Substances in the Domestic Substances List. Established under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA 1999), the DSL lists substances that are manufactured in or imported into Canada, substances that are not listed are considered new.
