This fifth annual conference will highlight new developments in the application of nanotechnologies to new product design and the improvement, manufacture and maintenance relevant to all the high value manufacturing (HVM) and performance engineering sectors including aerospace, automotive, motorsport, offshore, defence and energy generation.
The one day conference and exhibition will feature three parallel streams on Nanomaterials (Graphene & Nanocomposites), Surface Engineering (Protective & Functional Surfaces) and High Value Manufacturing (Advances in Nano/Micro Manufacture & Novel Manufacturing Concepts).
HiPerNano 2013 is a unique opportunity to meet the technology developers, form partnerships for collaborative research funding, and find commercial products on the market. We will be discussing new developments such as graphene, which promise new approaches to materials development and use, and innovative manufacturing techniques such as lasers for surface engineering and joining, and additive layer manufacturing techniques for net shape forming of components in polymers, ceramics and metallics.
