No room for nanotechnology patriots

Today, US-based nanotechnology research firm LUX Research published a new report entitled Profiting from International Nanotechnology. The report provides detailed statistics on the funding and research initiatives in fourteen countries, and assesses their respective competitiveness on two axes: (a) nanotechnology activity, and (b) technology development strength.
The authors conclude that ‘Companies active in nanotech risk missing out on key opportunities by not looking beyond their own borders’. The report is available to clients of LUX Research’s Nanotechnology Strategies advisory service.
