Deadline extended – more public comments sought on nano-silver petition

Released on Wednesday 14th January 2009

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced and extension of the public comment period on the Petition for Rulemaking Requesting EPA Regulate Nanoscale Silver Products as Pesticides.

Initially planned to close on the 20th January 2009, a notice in the 14th January 2009 Federal Register extends the comment period for 60 days from to the 20th March 2009.
