How we operate

The NIA Corporate Membership is open to all industrial companies involved is for companies or concerns involved in or seeking to be involved in the research, development, manufacturing, marketing or sale of nanotechnologies products and processes or the equipment, technical and engineering services needed for their production including all forms of information technology.

Activities of the NIA are driven and conducted by its collective membership, supported by broad-based Associate and Affiliate Membership with expertises in matters such as regulation, legislation, insurance, and finance.

The NIA operates through a number of Science & Technology Committees, as well as Ad-Hoc Task Groups and Project Management Teams.

In March 2010, the Nanotechnology Industries Association is looking back onto more than 5 years of successful sector-independent, responsible representation of the industrial nanotechnologies supply chains.
